Mama hatching chick chronicals!!!

The chicks are starting to come out away from their mama now instead of constantly staying in like they used to.

all in all, it seems to be going good!

chick #4 hatched! 6 eggs left. The poor thing was laying there exausted while the others were happily running around, eggshell in mouth.

Today there was and egg that was bloody and pushed out of the "nesting box". We couldn't distinguish any body parts, so it aparently wasn't very close to hatching.
