Mama hen made a move

One of our hens (unknowingly to us... surprise!) brought a batch of chicks into the world outside the henhouse. She is underneath it. We live in MN so it is starting to get cold. How do I get her into the henhouse with them- not only to protect from cold, but also from predators as we have a few of them. Do I need to or will she get them there as they get bigger?

You may have to catch them and move her and the chicks into the house with some sort of barrier to keep them from going outside until they are larger. Good luck with them.

If there is a ramp to access the coop young chi ks have trouble figuring them out. The will need help for a few weeks to navigate the ramp. You may have to gather them and the hen after dark and put them inside.

I have no experience but from what I understand, if you move the chicks mama will follow.

Sneaky Girl!!

How big a space is under there.....guessing it's not easy to see or reach or you'd have known she was under there?

Can you block off the space once she brings them out to eat and drink?

Pics of the coop/run might help garner some viable suggestions.
