I sold the two chicks that my Fancy Pants hatched. They are 4 weeks old. She was pretty upset for most of the day. She has new digs tonight with her new rooster and two other girls. Actually they have been together all along except while I had her seperated with babies. Now I hope Shadow is sucessful in his newly learned attempts at mating and she lays some fertile eggs before she goes broody again. This is the first time I have seperated the chicks and mama. They have always been with mom till she got sick of them. I guess it will be much harder on the poor chicks but they are going to a loving home with another member.
