"Man Cave" w/Outdoor Roost Bar

At @aart 's prodding I will...
  1. Redo roost itself
    • 2" by 3" full dimension 6' pine board, rounded edges
    • elevated centered above table structure
  2. Complete roost walls as panels
    • back screwed to post & upper beam
    • shared coop wall on right, protected by red metal roof panel
    • hinged west wall on the left opens to larger man cave area
    • front wall will be a hinged drop down mounted to rafters. Closed as needed for weather.
Table top edged to hold PDZ/sand combo (pure PDZ?).

The table structure will be legs, 36" high. This lower portion will hold:
  1. 16" by 16" exterior pop door
  2. 3' by 4' interior access door to the cage enclosure itself
  3. Ramp up to roost.

Are you keeping roosters?? "Man cave" seems like an odd choice of words if you have hens...

The enclosure is to be a permanent home for cockerels and roosters and occasional home for a breeding set (rooster and up to 6 hens).

I also have pullets/hens for eggs as the main purpose of my having chickens.

I was driven to this solution as I want to: keep separate breeding stock (Black Copper Maran mixes, Chanteclers, Hungarian Yellows); control access to indoor and outdoor space so that entire flock gets free range time.

Ah, got it!
