Man do my chickens LOVE pancakes!

Make pancakes with eggs in the batter, add tuna or cheese, mine go NUTS!

Pancake batter is cheap, so I do this a lot

I thought that we were the only ones that fed our chickens leftover pancakes -- well, actually, in our case, waffles.


My wife makes the greatest waffles from a mix she gets at the LDS cannery. But there is usually some extra batter after she's made waffles enough for me, my daughter and herself.


So we give our chickens any extra waffles left after we eat. And they LOVE them!


Our chickens would request waffles for breakfast every day if they could.
