Dealt with that fire garbage a few years ago, we had a huge one that burnt half the state it seems. You'd go outside and it was just orange out and the ash falling out of the sky all the time and the smoke burning your eyes.
You are welcome to some of my rain if you want. I wonder if the mail man will get mad if I slap one of those flat rate stickers on a tanker or two of it and ship it over to you !!
speaking of landscape, Ive been toying with the idea, but now are going to really get on their ass. They offer free mulch here if you can get them to deliver it here. when they shred trees after storms and clear the sides of the roads and stuff, the choppings they will give you free. I see some real low areas in my yard especially with the floods Ive got. The grass in the back yard is no big deal, nothing you'd have a fit over or spend money on, I think its time to have them dump some truck loads of mulch and just spread that around. Fill in the low areas and just build everything up. The mulch will be a god sent to the crap they gave us for soil here to begin with, and in a year, will compost into some pretty good topsoil. The grass can grow thru it and be stronger for it, the yard will be raised up a few inches and I can fill in the low spots and make like a natural butte for the coop to hang out on thats raised a few inches so everything runs off / away from it. Once the bugs get established, the girls will have plenty of snacks to dig through as well.
Great just what I need, another ongoing, never to be completed project
