I am now having about the same problem as Faras1. If I block the nests (have two out of 5 year old + hens brooding) these two are using, they just switch boxes. I have had to break each of the 5 this year in a separate cage. These 2 are at it for the second time. I have left them brood to themselves but its been over 5 weeks now and I can feel them losing weight. I take them out every day and unless I close off the run leading to the coop, they are right back in about an hour later. I have feeder set up in the run and it is not very movable. Separate coop is one of the small coops that they sell for 3 to 5 hens. I bought it used and cheap for just this purpose. I guess I am going to put them back in the separate coop again. Last time it took about 3 to 6 days to break them.
