Managing my flock or my flock managing me??

I have the meanest brute of a drake named BoBo. He loves the girls but the girls don't like him. He is destined to live the rest of his life in "time out". I just had 4 babies for about 2 weeks. That's how long it took for them to grow up. Three of the 4 don't want to come in at night. I try walking them in but they won't go in. I can sometimes get one in then the other two run for the pond.

I got all except 1 in. The last check was a little after midnight and Ridgehead was still swimming away. Not so stupid, ..I can't get to him or her in the water. Not so smart either because I have to lock the others down so Ridgehead gets no food until morning.
