Managing the smell of ammonia

I've been using DLM for six weeks now and haven't added any shavings in two weeks. No ammonia smell at all!

Even DH is amazed... you can only smell the pooh when there is a fresh one plopped near you. I have very little open ventilation, and the coop is 10 x 9 and six feet tall. The girls get a flake of hay every morning, and they scratch through it so thoroughly that I dont even have to turn it... don't know if this is just luck on my part, but I have had great success with this method!!! Thanks to all of you on BYC for helping me get set up!!!

Thanks all for your input, the smell appears to have gone since the install of the two ceiling vents.
