We hd really bad weather the other day and lost our intended pen. It was 10x12x8. We he salvaged some of the materials and built a coop that is 4x8x4 covered with tin. It has a nesting box area that is 4x2.5x4. Will this work? We copied the coop tht is pictured on the call duck page.

Usually a pair of birds need at least 100sqft to live in. I think its even more necessary for these birds because they absolutely love to fly (well at least mine do) and they need lots of room both LxW and height.

If its all you have then go for it, they are still in familiar surroundings, same farm, etc. So they might just surprise you! If they are wing clipped than they don't need the area to fly, and if they aren't, they might be ok with it for a few months... Give it a shot, I think it'll work as long as they are familiarized and comfortable...
