Mandarin Drake damaged Sail feathers

One of my Mandarin Drakes Sail Feathers on both sides look shredded.
Has anyone seen this before? He is perfectly healthy and happy, I saw him getting busy with his significant other, just wondering why this happened and if I should be concerned?
