Mandarin Drake Duck - showing signs of a problem

My Mandarin drake is looking rather bleak today. His beak is an off dark red almost purple color, losing a lot of the beautiful coloring around his head. I checked him for mites, he has plenty of water, maybe a lack of a certain vitamin or nutrient. I feed a good water fowl food, but he and the mate are in with a bunch of chickens, is that the problem? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Please post on the duck forum as well. Poultry Nutridrench or Poultry Cell are very food to give to a sick bird up to 3 ml daily, given a drop at a time to swallow, or in a little wet feed.
