yep that sounds about right on age now that I can see them out in the open.
Does look like 2 hens, pretty sure of it. The last one already has flight feathers, I'd give her another week or so for them to finish growing out, then cut them.
Start feeding them now in that kennel so they are usu to the idea and that may work for you.

Size wise though, they aint gettin any bigger, an inch if anything, half call size is it for them.
They sure look fat and healthy though.

Does anyone have mandie ducklings for sale? I would love to raise some from the duckling stage.

most everyone who raises these types of ducks only sells yearling pairs. Will be very hard to find ducklings, especially now, they are done laying and most all hatched out by now.
If you dont go with yearlings this fall. You need to start looking by March of next spring for duckling suppliers.

Your not being rude and to answer your question I just like to experience all of my ducks/pets lives. It's kinda odd. Well its that and I was hoping to raise them with some ducklings that I plan to make THE QUACK SQUAD! So it seemed like an outstandingly beautiful choice.

Ok, just wondering

. Personally, I would buy a pair this fall, build there pen, and then hatch out some ducks in the spring. That would be your best bad at getting ducklings, as boggy bottom said, most people sell them as yearling pairs. Finding ducklings is hard enough, let alone someone in your area(at least for me cause no one has them but me)

Plus these are WILD ducks...they do VERY poorly if raised together with domestic ducks.
They are slow to eat and very skittish. Often domestic ducks are food bullies toward them, thus will starve your mandarins to death.

They are best brooded by themselves or with similar waterfowl like wood ducks.
