Mandarin Ducks???

They do not like being held it causes major stress for them. Not a good choice for any hands on anything.

But seeing, feeding and hearing (well holding while they are still ducklings is okay, right?) is still a great sensory activity...the elders at the nursing home that are incapable of doing cognitive activities need sensory related activities..

no, these are tiny when hatched, no one will ship them as ducklings only fall juveniles. They can be easily held wrong and injured.
