Hi all
I have 2 questions
1. Dose anyone use the manna pro coop & compost
2. Will the chickens eat it

The only reason I ask is because i have 10 chickens there still in the brooder. There between 4 and 6 weeks old. I wanted to use the coop and compost in the brooder to help keep the smell down but was afraid that they my scratch it up and eat it. Any info would be helpful.
Thanks Rob

I just started using them, and so far they seem to work well for reducing odor and moisture. I sprinkle a good layer underneath the bedding in our coop's pull out litter drawers, especially underneath the water area. I am not sure if our chickens have eaten any since they are mostly underneath the litter, but I don't think the crystals will hurt them since it is a natural volcanic mineral. I also sprinkle some in their "poop hammock" to absorb moisture and odor. Apparently the granules make the litter into better compost too.
