Hi,
I'm really really new here from Mansfield, MA! I'm actually not even a chicken parent yet lol just looking to gain as much knowledge as I can on here before I start a new journey!

I'm actually still searching for the laws/regs/ poultry ordinances in my town and can't seem to find them anywhere. If anyone by chance knows what they are please let me know!

If anyone has some advise on how to begin please PM me and let me know. I need to know everything I can about raising chickens in New England.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. I would recommend stopping by your city hall. Someone there should be able to tell you what (if any) restrictions there are on raising chickens in your area. If you haven't done so already, definitely check out our Learning Center at https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center. There is lots of useful information there. Your village or city hall should have that information available either by phone, visit, or their website. Hope you will be able to have birds.
