Manure box design for a moveable A frame chicken ark

I built an A frame chicken ark



I want to put a "manure box" in so that I can easily collect the chicken poop under the roost. How can I do this? What can I use for the manure box? Any ideas?

I can't quite see how your roost is located but many use poop boards. Located directly under the roost and easily removed to scrape clean. You could try a search to see what people have done for their "poop board".

I can't tell by the pics if you have enough room...but if you can put chicken wire under it so they poop into a closed in area...and put a slide in box under it, with about four inches of wood shavings, it would collect the poop and once in a while, just skim it off of the top of the shavings. I have that in my main coop with an outside door for access and it makes clean out a breeze.
