Someone finally walked on the evil white stuff!

We went to Bobo's Cafe in the Chappaqua, NY, train station.

There's also apparently a farmer's market. I wonder if they sell live chickens!

Meanwhile, we continue to freeze: high today of -12°C (10°F), not including the wind chill delivered by 40 mph (64 kph) winds.

Only the four 5-month-old pullets dared brave the below-freezing temperature and wind. The 4 older and wiser hens stayed in the covered run.

Peck finally got a clean bill of health after months of bumblefoot. She's the last Original Chicken at nearly 6 years old, and an adorable lap chicken. She rules the flock, too!

I can finally tell who lays what among the 4 pullets.

We have had temps in the low 30s in the daytime, and below freezing at night. Last night, it rained a bit. This clearly makes for fascinating snow formations.
