This seems like a dumb question even to me. I should compost my chickens' manure right away right?
Is there any benefit to holding on to them in a bag? They are pretty dry... What else can I do with them?

Thanks in advance!

I dump mine on the compost pile as soon as I clean it out of the coop and run. Add any kind of yard/garden waste and kitchen scraps, and put that poop to work, turning the pile into something delicious for the plants.

If I may ask, are you collecting it in a bag for any particular reason? Fortunately, there is no "critical mass" of poop needed to get compost going. :)

I started my collection because I wanted to try R2elk's winter waterer set up, where you compost around the water bucket to keep it from freezing. Well now I have way too much poop on my hands, which prompted this question 😂
