Maran cross? and gender guess for 2 month olds

so these are two of the guys we're pretty sure are Roo's. they are only 8 weeks old now but seem so big! the guy in the back is the one I'm wondering about. as a chick he was all black and scrawny, i call him Lyle. he's now transformed into a beautiful bird. the black on the body has some iridescent green feathers that are just starting to show. We don't want to keep Roo's and you can see by the size of our new coop that 8 chickens is too many

If all those birds are 8 weeks, old, I think you have four roosters in that first picture. An 8 week old pullet will have hardly any comb to speak of, that's a lot of combs hanging out.

yup, that's what we think too. those two with with the single big combs have been on our suspect list for a month. the gray one sandwiched in between them joined the "cull" list two weeks ago and unfortunately the pretty brown one in the back is now on the list. of course those would have to be the most beautiful and nicest of our flock! we bought a straight run hoping to end up with 3 - 5 pullets so I guess we're not disappointed or surprised.
