Maran rooster ?

Can anyone tell if these faults are genetic or could it be due to rough handeling of the egg he hatched out from ebay ?

I would guess that he may very well not be a pure Marans.

They are probably genetic, and he's not pure Marans, as sourland said

Well he hatched out of a really dark Maran egg, and from the pictures of the parents who are pure Marans based on looks and the seller only raises Marans maybe it could accidentally breed with another rooster as the parent flock is free range.
