Ok, I feel like whenever I'm certain that a chick is either male or female, I'm typically wrong. I have the same problem with my sense of direction, if I say right, it's typically in your best interest to go left.
SO, with that in mind, I need some confirmation that the fellas that I know are roosters are in fact roosters. These guys are supposed to be leaving the old homestead this weekend and I don't want to make their new owners super happy and me really sad when I find out I gave away hens instead of roosters.
Ok, so am I right on or way off?
5 Week Old BC Marans
BIRD #1: Rooster
BIRD #2: Hen
5 Week Old Wheaten Marans
BIRDS 3 & 4: Roosters (2 different birds, but with exact same coloring and impossible to tell apart)
BIRD #5: Hen (significantly more carmel colored than the other two and with smaller comb)
