thanks.. gotta see the blue ones.. i guess i better start a search on the computer for pictures of them...
might have to sell some of my mixed and "other" breeds so i can have another pen for more marans....
oh my hunny will be so thrilled, more chickens!!!.. HAHAHAHAHAHAH
 
My hens started out a little light and speckled and now they are laying nice ones without speckles--I thought the freckled ones were really pretty myself.

It does look exactly like some of the welsummer eggs I have got in the incubator. I will be interested to see what my cuckoo marans lay at first. I appreciate all the good information on this thread what I would really like to know is how do you know you have a good roo?

sorry but NO.. if i am driving to kansas i am bringing back a CAMEL!!!! i have wanted on for 8 years now.. and as soon as this economy gets better.. i am getting one.. planning in aprox 2-3 years..
hmmmmm well if i am in kansas already getting my camel maybe i will stop for some baby chicks...
