Marans or Not?

Zucchini was purchased from MPC’s rare breed assortment, and was ID’d a few weeks ago as a likely BCM. Comparing her to the BCM pullet I had last year at the same age, though, I’m not seeing those copper hackle feathers. She is 5.5 weeks old.

Looks to be a Black Copper Marans. Hackle color will likely come in later!
