well i got kinda frustraited when i posted this in the marans thread twice and it got over looked and then i make my own thread for it which this is the second time aswell in a moths time and this is the only responses i have had, i do thank you guys for ur imput i didnt know about the chicken color calculator

I am curious to see any pictures of Lemon blue Marans from those working on this project and might have some pretty adult birds I can see.. I know they are a work in progress -- I have been gifted a dozen and am excited about the possibilities.

seems at this moment nobody has a Lemon Blue Maran yet even a project class birds, Autosomal Red is a very difficult thing to get rid of, that´s why they are blue copper maran instead of lemon blue maran, I will be more than happy to help others with the theory behind lemon blue if the p.m me

I was curious to see if anyone had any luck with this project as well. What if someone got a lemon blue cochin and bred to (BBS) solid blue marans (without coppering) would that be easier to get the coloring set than to try and get rid of the mahogany gene from the blue copper marans?
