Yes, we live in up in the hills in a straw bale house that we built, off grid with solar power and a huge garden. Lots of chickens, because as long as the chickens are laying, you are not going to starve to death..

You will not be disipointed with the FBCM if you get them from a good breeder I wouldn’t get them from a normal hatchery though if you want dark eggs you might get lucky but probably not. Mine are from Greenfire Farms.

Ooooh pretty!! Aren't those just gorgeous eggs!?!! I remember being little (a couple moons ago) and eggs were white and came from the store, the first brown egg I saw all those years ago BLEW. MY. MIND.
