I have an approximately 6 month old Black Copper French Marans rooster who started limping about a week ago. He is acting fine in other aspects, still interested in food and his girls and has no problem getting on his roost at night. I don't think he has mites, none of the other birds have any issues. I think he might have a strained leg, maybe from jumping off of his roost or having a run-in with my 6 year old son. I am worried about his feathers coming in on his feet and am wondering if these look normal. They're very red and irritated where they are erupting from his skin. I was wondering what everyone thought...
