My boy’s combs were redder by 4 weeks~

Could totally be a boy but I wouldn’t loose hope!

I know I’m so unsure that’s why im doing the dna sexing. I saw other photos of chicks at 4 weeks and the combs were 2x as big and red as this one. I’m really keeping my fingers crossed.

Keep us posted! I have some marans coming next week and am debating doing dna testing right away so I don’t get attached to boys I can’t keep~ the family likes watching and trying to figure them out though. Drives me bananas lol. Good luck!!!

I ordered these as females from my pet chicken. The last batch I got was sexed bantams and olive eggers and all turned out to be girls so I decided to try again and I’m so glad they turned out to be all girls also. This is my new favorite hatchery lol
