Marans taking their time coming into lay? *pic added*

I bought some marans pullets at POL back in June/July, all march 09 hatch I believe..

But still no sign of any eggs!

I penned them in for a few weeks just in case they were laying elsewhere, they deffo aren't.

My other marans which are only 2-3 months older lay like mad & have been in lay from 26 weeks old.

Is this normal? Should I wait a bit longer?

I have 2 marans. They are 27 weeks. 1 is laying, 1 is not.
Plus it is cold and the days are short. I think she's saving her energy for warmer days.
