Braggin rights: One of my older BC marans has gone broody... yeah... No incubator for me... She thinks it's spring!!! I am going to let her do the work!!!!

Here are a couple of my roos at 18 weeks old. (Last 2 are the same roo)

I have 4 blue Marans without feathered shanks, as well. ... In there somewhere! LOL

I have a question,
All of my chickens had featherd legs and a few outside toes, now that they are running in the pasture and some of the mud I dont see all the feathers. Is this becasue they have broken off or is it possible for them to loose the feathers?
This weekend Im going to look closer too.

my new baby Marans the 2 black ones have fuzzy feet and the 2 "splash" do not!
I don't know anything about this breed. How do they look? Any info?

It is hard to say at the early age but I think they are very cute... The last one may turn out to be a cull due to the over coppering on the head tends to reveal a mossiness later on. I like you little rooster... picture number two .... He is adorable.. All of the babies are sooo sweet.
