Zgoatlady I think you did a great job with the pictures... I always feel like mine aren't great either though. Today one of the grands left an empty Easter basket here... I grabbed it and went out to collect eggs... when I got in it looked so pretty I took a pic. Then I noticed the poopy one on top
Awesome! Thank you everyone! You have eased any remorse I may have had. This will be my first time getting
eggs ordered. So I'll be looking forward to it.
Here are my eggs, the girls (FBCM) will be a year old in June.....this was with flash etc....
Excuse the mud... I live in Oregon and there is excessive rain and mud right now...I took a picture and then carefully removed mud for the April hatch festivus. That is my opinion of Cree. Oh and the ppl are really bend over backwards kind folks.
Blue/Black/Splash bird.... Really nice steady 5-6's... Always consistent.. Good temperment and a kind lap chicken... Watch the site this summer for some blue ribbons.. I personally think this splash hen has it all... Her eye color is wonderful... pumpkin orange. Really outstanding bird from Cree farms.

oh man geebs, what a beauuutie! watch her shes slowly dust bathing herself under the porch to lay eggs again lol ! so after you asleeped, i finnished that incubator liner, but i got frustrated with the sewing after i did it wrong on the second end, so i just used that pretty duct tape. still works
but then i couldnt find a double A battery for the thermomoter, so i stole the one from the fridge and put it in there and put the other one on the fridge, hope it stableizes good by tomorrow. just have to learn its moods and touchieness and how far to turn the dial in comparison on how much hotter or colder you want it to be! im so eggsited for hatchies!
What frig.... My frige?? I didnt' know I had any... Anyway good job.. I was wiped out after all the fence repairs.. Eggies to arrive tomarrow smooman... I am wanting 99.5 or therebouts... No low and slow... I am going to throw them in either Tilda or 1588 after the weekend hatch.. I trust your bator most.. and for the rest of you... that is the 1588 we have is a good bator.. We are hatching some Wade Jeanne eggies comingin the mail for our April hatch... They are from our favorite breeder.
So this is particularly eggciting... We are infusing the flock with new "old blood" for a closed flock. It is one of our projects.
Wow those combs on marty's birds are AWEESOME!!! are you still collecting from them???? They need a rooster visit again... Can I bring Duracell over and give the ladies a one night stand?
yeah from your fridge! well she will hold a perfect steady temp! try taping all but one of the big holes on top, it will help hold humidity and temp, thats what i do.once you get it perfectly stable, TAPE the turny knobe thing down or something so you dont bump it or someone doesnt mess with it, its happend to me before, i told my DF that we wanted to use the brown cooler for another bator and he gave me the stink eye, so i laughed and told him we got a cool see threw mini fridge that we can transform instead and he thought that was neat. anyway, look i posted a pic of my cuckoos !
