Ok why is it that my 3 Black copper marons hatching chicks at of 10 to 12 weeks of age and only one has the copper coloring and the other two are looking solid black with a bit of copper starting to come in at the neck line , are some bk cop. Marons solid blacks or is this a cult chick


I will try to post picks I thinking there all male , but I have a batch or 4 more that are only 2 weeks old in the brooker , so hopefully I'll end up with a couple of hens

here is part of the March hatch a long... My Broodie heard we were having the hatch festivus and had to get her "hatch on"... Here is the result of her box time... She has 5 little peeps in the bushes with her.

Don't sell em short yet... I had one I could swear was a rooster and she is just 9 month old.. hasn't laid her first egg but I finally know it is a hen... You sometimes can't tell for a VERY long time... I say wait 5 months... or until they crow.. that is a good sign of a rooster... 3 month just may not be enough time depending on the birds you have.... And I am waiting for the pix

that show scares me, sooo much. it makes us look like a clean polly pocket play house. lol, bators are jsut awesome. after my bros bed is out of my room, that wall willbecome pure bator. no it wont. wishful thinking tho.. lol .. geebs... i thought we put 6 babies under her lol

yep... ooops. and then there were 5... With any luck she will raise these 5... Peafowl got in an harassed her... One baby died of a heart attack I am sure....Those naughty peafowl. THey are like teenagers on a Saturday night with a new car!!

One of the four culprits... they are trashing my husbands shop... (I opened the door... he he) Glad he doesn't read this post or I would really get it..
He loves his peafowl but he loves his shop more!!!
