well thanks for the kind words , i picked him out of the 5 roos i hatched from the great line (davis )... and i hatched around 4 roos out of the great line of budy hennery (presley ).... as it turned out i culled all the presley roos in favor of him ..... not that one is better than another , it just turned out davis was nicer and bigger and the comb was better looking ..... it was just a role of genetic luck.... about 2 years ago i started hatching a dozzen from each breeder and got 9 roos and 2 hens lol then i did a half dz hatch and got a davis hen .... it takes forever to get a few good birds , now i have many but it will be another 2 or 3 months for my first gen eggs
