Howdy all. Is there such a thing as Splash Copper Marans? I bought these two pullets as such, but as they grow up, I can't help but think that they look an awful lot like Wellies. A search on BYC turns up pages and pages of threads on Blue Splash Marans......

Those look like dark wheatens to me...but no feathered shanks...I dunno. To be honest, they look exactly like my production reds. Interesting!

Even some of hers are brassy and a bit mossy so goes to show that even the best need to cull.

Are you keeping this pullet Kathinmo? Or is it a roo... I guess we don't know yet... Well I ask because it would be nice to see what it matures out like.. I have some that started out brown and turned black at maturity... No green sheen but black all the same.
