what are the varaities of marans??!

While not all lay the super dark eggs I know of these... blue, blue splash, white, wheaten, black, black copper, blue copper and cuckoo marans.

and Golden Salmon, Silver Salmon, Splash Copper, Golden Cuckoo, Blue Wheaten, White, Black Tailed Buff, Blue Cuckoo, Columbian and Birchen.

Forgot to say:

Also the Golden Salmon, Silver Salmon, Black Tailed Buff, Columbian and Birchen can be very hard to come by. The most common and somewhat easier varieties of Marans to get are the Cuckoo, Black Copper, Wheatens and Blue Black Splash, Blue Copper and Splash Copper, also pure Black Marans are very hard to find.

You forgot to mention, Blue Wheatens aren't very common either.
