Sticky the stickman chick passed away on this day March 18th 2009 after failing to recover from a respiratory infection

Three of the chicks fell ill, we worked hard to treat them and managed to save two, but sadly Sticky passed away today..

Thank you all for your kind comments. No matter how hard we try to keep our little chicks safe, there will always be incidents that will be well beyond our control, I guess we just have to pick up the pieces and move on...on a lighter note, we have 2 sitting hens and 3 laying ones. Between them so far thats 41 eggs and a looming crisis!
