I plan on setting some eggs in March, 10th or so? I just built this incubator that will tilt like an octagon 20 and I will not have to hand turn eggs.

I made it from this box.The curved lid went under the box.

I just set 12 eggs today. And in a homemade incubator as well!

I thought I was going to have to wait until mid March, but I can set eggs tomorrow!

What is everyone hatching and when are they due? I'm running just a test batch of my brown leghorns. Due about Mar 12th.

If I set tomorrow- then March 16.

I set 42 eggs due March 14, 27 BA and 15 EE (blue eggs).

I am supposed to get eggs from a gal today, she asked what color I wanted, I requested regular brown eggs, since I have dark brown, white, tan, blue-green, and gray. Hopefully a doz.

eggs on the left are from a friend, (rooster was LO), eggs on the right are from a health food store. warming up then putting in incubator.

I am setting some eggs on Monday, I can’t wait! This is my first hatch.
