The older 9 are now on lockdown! (Sorry I wasn't able to get candling pictures, things got really busy around here). Crickets egg is in the egg carton atm (the one next to the empty space) with some OEGB chicken eggs (we ended up losing our rooster so we stuck some of eggs of his in, they are on day 5 and I'm actually hoping for a rooster this time!) Also, quick question, is having the humidity at 60-70 going to harm the later eggs? I turn them twice a day. View attachment 3034719View attachment 3034720View attachment 3034721
It's not desirable to keep the humidity that high for the early stages of incubation but when you have staggered hatches you kind of just have to make do. Anyone with staggered hatches does this so you're not alone! I would probably just wait to elevate the humidity until day 19 or the first external pip. That way it won't be elevated as long and shoot for 60 once they're hatching. There will be spikes in humidity as they hatch anyway. It should be just fine and once the chicks start hatching they will move the other eggs around anyway.

How far along are the other eggs?
