i have 25 silver laced wyandottes ordered from the local co-op. kinda excited to be raising chicks again haven't since i was in 4-h. any problems i should know about pine straw bedding? and will corse grain sand work for chick grit? old refrigerator brooder. removed the fridge door and replaced with hardware cloth. freezer door was left on for access. any advice would be welcome.
