Wow 52 eggs! Ahahah, looking forward to hatch day for you! But about ur eggs, it could be that the air sack is taking up such a big space of the egg, that the chick has no other room to develops but the bottom, but I don't think it will be suck a big problem![]()

I think you are right about the chick squeezed into one end of the egg. I really hope these two can hatch if indeed there are chicks in there! The air cell is very, very big compared to the other normally developing ones. I tentatively pushed the lighter end downwards and then removed my finger and it "leaped" forward to tip the other way.
The first time I incubated Marans, I had detached air cell problems, but that was because they were shipped. This time they are from my own flock.
