March Egg Swap Addresses sent

I woke this morning to the sound of baby voices. I unloaded the hatcher when we got back from church. Looks like eight are still working to get out the the shell, and the other 45 are in brooders making happy noises. I set partner swap eggs and a lot from my own flock. I'm really pleased with how well the shipped eggs did. I'll take pictures and post them tomorrow after my camera batteries are charged up. Happy Easter!

I am now the proud owner of Purple egg laying chickens courtesy of Wolftracks. The two in front are from the purple eggs. Quite sure the one on the right is a roo. Can't wait to see what the brown looks like when she feathers out. Thanks Wolftracks!

Here are the two of my swap eggs that hatched. Three made it to lockdown - 2 hatched and the other pipped and died (didn't know that it had pipped on the underside of the egg where I couldn't see

Not my best hatch but I did manage to get 1 blue andalusian chick from mrs.mooncat. my eggs from chickenfever tried real hard by ended up not hatching.

I finally took pictures of my new Easter babies. I could only get three or four to look the same direction, so the photos are not representative of the number of chicks that hatched. I've got two brooders overflowing. For my swap partners: Thank you! There were only a few eggs that didn't hatch.
This is just a sampling of what's filling two brooders. If you see chicks from your flock, send me a message and remind me what I'm raising.
