They have been making me laugh, though, because one goose yells in terror and rushes out the door whenever I go near the coop and the other actually stands up calmly so I can check the eggs under her. So no guarantees on whether they will all have brains
Also I have a Midget White hen who just started laying. The male is a harvest gold. if you are interested I'll put those eggs in the box, too. I got some goose eggs on the 24 hour auction so my incubator is going to be full!

Does anyone know what other means..... When I signed up for other I thought it meant: Quail, Turkey, Guinea, Ducks,Geese, Etc. I also signed up for a bantam. But some how I got 2 people that were supposed to send me bantam. Could there have been a mix up.

Or does other mean anything. Cause I thought there was a anything catergory. I am in no way complaining. I just want to understand the rules. So I know how to sign up and what is allowed to be sent.

You could always do what I did and be specific. I technically signed up for waterfowl but only if they were geese. I've got plenty of ducks and I hate getting chicken eggs when I don't know what kind they are (I'm picky about what I let my son see, he wants to keep everything

). Other, for me, usually means quail, and I've got plenty of those too

I' m good with that. I have no luck with quail..... I always seem to do something wrong and they die. That is one I have not mastered. I am very picky also. I have a hubby who wants to keep it all but not help.

Hello. Could who ever got my name please post. I don't need to know what is being sent just that I was not forgotten. I have had awful luck with these swaps and have not gotten my swap items four times. I hadn't signed up in a long time because of this and now I am wondering again.

I put my eggs in the incubator Saturday night. I got Barred Rocks and I also had some other eggs I set too.
