Oh, I love seeing the mamas w/ babies!

I forgot to post pics of my hatch last week on the 25th-26th:
14 cuckoo marans, 3 bcm, 2 speckled sussex, and some mixes = 25 out of 36 total

Final count was 22! 8 never did anything and two died after pipping. I'm sad about the ones that did not make it but this was my first real hatch. I've done a few before but never a full incubator!

My 6 year old daughter is in seventh heaven! She can't decide which one she likes best so she has 22 favorite chicks. LOL

Settler'sDreamFarm - those are adorable! I love buff color.
my daughter's looking her with me, and as I scrolled past the first 2 pics, we then both simultaneously said "aaaawwww" I love the silkie mama with her babies.
