these are my 10 that are out so far two more are coming but i think one is a quitter

yea, and they are so cute to! I had 28 to hatch out of my 36 eggs. When I put the eggs in warm water to see IF one was alive I saw only one bobble so I opened a little hole in the top of it so it could breath. The next day it still hadn't pipped so I tried to help it and it bled a little so I stopped and put it back in there. Then later that night or the next day can't remember, I tried again and got it out except for the bottom part of the shell but it didn't make it. The others are already so active and trying to jump out the door of the brooder when I open it. lol

Well, I had to cull my sweet little chick. I went to tie it off with dental floss to cut the stuff off, and realized its intestines were now out. I couldn't get it back in, so I just went ahead and put it out of its misery.

Hatched my first Ancona baby today. My flock is black & blue, but apparently they are split to chocolate because this little baby sure isn't black or blue. WoooHooo!
