One last thing some ppl if they see the internal pip will make a tiny hole in the end so the chicks doesn't run of of air then leave the eggs alonePretty tricky work ibet .I haven't done tis but some do

Kassaundra me too Purists would die... im always assisting some for the good some not so much leg problems etc.. just wait until they are pipped about 24 hours though with no progress at all...then I peel a little see whats up. if all looks ok no blood slowly peel more. .Ive never assisted one that wasn't pipped though

I have heard of chicks to hatch with a nail polish spot ...Can happen!

Ok I still have one chick in "ICU" and I candles my second set of eggs I have 8/9 viable polish mix and 6/10 EE hopefully this hatch will be more successful!

Well, I eggtopsied the three eggs I pulled this morning. All were fully formed, beautiful babies. One dark-colored silkie and two lav AMs.
