March hatch along

Guys I'm about to jumout of my skin!!! I just got home (looonnng day) and had one fluffy hatched chick under my broody, 3 external pips, and 2 internal pips :D!!!

Could definitely be temp/humidity, or spike in temp for too long, so sorry. Crack some open to see if anything obviously wrong that might be genetic too. But since they all passed at same time would say temp/humidity.

Ok, thank you.

Quote: The temperature has to be at least 99.5 in the egg for the embryo to develop. In a still air incubator, hot air rises, so if it is 102 at the top of the eggs then it is usually 99.5 at the bottom of the eggs.

I have never used still air, is that temp normal for still air??? B/c it seems high to me.
It is normal.

My temp is between 101 and 102 (still air). My humidity is about 45 with no water in there. It's higher than I'd like, but has only gone up the last few days while it's been raining. Was 35 before that. Only one I suspect is developing slower than others. Pulled out one blood ring, two clears, and one leaky. That leaves me with 11 cooking.
that sounds great I know my still air ran about 101 and I had pretty good hatches sounds like yours are doing great where your at. Just checked mine said 102 wth cracked it to cool and back at 99.8 man I hope those babies are still okay, I knew things were going too good.

According to "Storey's Guide to Rasing Chickens" lethal temperatures in incubators are as follows.......
For still-air incubators 107F
For forced-air incubators 103F
