Mareck's In my Flock

Well I am so glad that I found this thread. I'm sitting here in tears because I just got a report back from our vet that one my chickens that recently died and was sent off to the state lab for a necropsy came back positive for Marecks. For now I'm not sure exactly what to do. I just have a backyard flock of 14 chickens. I can go out and bleach the house and hope that that will remove any existing virus but it sounds like there's no way to tell if any of the other ones have been infected. And then I'm wondering since it could spread in dander and stuff if I have to go out bleach the house every week or what? From what I have read on this forum some people who have lost a chicken to that disease have kept the rest of the chickens and less they exhibit symptoms. I don't think I have any chickens now that were vaccinated when they were chicks.

So here's what I was thinking and please I am open to any and all suggestions: would it help to just try to keep my chickens as healthy as I can? I have recently started incorporating herbs, garlic powder, probiotic powder in their food and vinegar in their water. So I'm wondering if you do things like that to try to beef up their immune system as best you can if it would protect them from getting sick even if they carry the virus?

Please...any help appreciated! I love my girls and I'm heartbroken about this.
