Really sad news....
One of my birds is positive Marek's upon necropsy. I have about 150 birds. Will they all die? They have all been together at some point and I'm sure all have been exposed to Marek's.

I'm hoping someone will say that they have had some to survive after being exposed to Marek's.

Good news please if there is any because I am really depressed!!!!

Good news and bad. Those having Mareks rarely recover. Good news is that in nature many birds are exposed to this and build up an immunity to it. Some will catch it others won't. Their is a vaccine you can give them, Jeffers Livestock carries it for $10 for 1000 doses. Some research has been done to give it to all your birds sick ones too. Some believe it helps the body recognize it and attack it. It is still in debate. Bio security is your best bet at keep it to a minimum. It is spread through feather dander, on you, your clothes, the wind, the birds etc...
Keep all sick birds in one area, pref a covered area, all exposed birds in another. Wear different clothes each time you handle birds and deal with sick birds last. Oxine AH is a very good sanitizer. Best Wishes
