Hello, Im not quite sure what is wrong with my rooster Penguin.
Latley he has just been sitting on top of the roost acting like hes sleeping?
When I pick him up and put him on the ground he sits back down and closes his eyes, when he tries to walk he becomes very uncoordinated.
I havent noticed any signs of him being paralized because he can walk around just fine but gets really uncoordinated.
I have been looking up the sypmtoms of Mareks Disease and he has a couple sypmtons.
Loss of ability to stand, Uncoordination, loss of apetite, loss of weight, and shrunken combs.
It sounds to me like it is Marek's Disease and I dont know what to do for him.
Please, someone help me...

Im not sure on this, but I think mishapen pupils are also a symptom. Are the pupils mishapen?

Hm, those are symptoms of alot of diseases... Mareks is dictated mainly by stiff legs, or wings, and quick onset of paralysis...Also Diarrhea. How long has he been showing these symptoms? Honestly, I'd knock Mareks down your list of possible diseases.

How does his nostrils and eyes look? Any swelling or crustiness of the facial areas?

First off if he's not eating much and lethargic, try going to wal-mart and getting some gatorade or something electrolyte packed and get him to drink some of that...Then, at wal-mart try looking for Pol-vi-sol (no iron) for babies. Give him a few drops of that, it might just be he is lacking in needed vitamins and its causing him to be lethargic. A small dose an antibiotics wouldn't hurt him as well. Any livestock antibiotic will work, just make sure you give the correct dose via injection or diluted in water to be drunk.

Good luck

Thank you everyone for your help but I think he may have just been having a bad day. He seemed fine when I took in the basement for a night and now he is running around with the others. Ill still keep an eye on him to see if it comes back.
