Stumbling, imbalance, leg weakness, and then paralysis is the succession when a chicken has heat stroke. If you give them water with electrolytes and put cold compresses under their wing pits, (Never dunk a chicken in cold water suspected of heat stroke as that will kill them) they recover very quickly.
